Timed Event Challenge - this winter the CRA has decided to try a Timed Event Challenge and Roughstock Bonaza.
We believe that this will benefit our contestants, by being able to enter twice, will make the purse higher, and only having to haul to one place, will cut down on fuel costs.
We feel this is a way to get a jump start on the 2012 season.
Note: As per the executive meeting and feedback from the membership - we have adjusted the Barrel Racing Payout to 70%, we have copied this percentage from another recognized barrel racing association. Also, we have decided that a contestant can use up to 3 of these challenges to count toward the 8 to attend finals. The First one will be held in Magrath on November 26, you will have to pre-enter and call back like all other rodeo’s. Please watch for more information on the website or paper. We are planning to have a series of 5 of these throughout the winter. Being that these are CRA Board produced, we will be looking to the membership to help with running them. Thank you in advance.
